A beach trip to Hua Hin with your dog
Where to stay, when to swim and how to care for coat and paws afterwards.

Hua Hin is a short drive from Bangkok with plenty of pet-friendly stays and restaurants.
Before you go
- Book accommodation that clearly accepts dogs
- Bring vaccination records, medication and a local vet's number
- Stop every 1.5–2 hours for water and a stretch
On the beach
- Go before 9 am or after 4 pm, when the sand is cooler
- Use a life jacket for weak swimmers
- Do not let your dog drink seawater
- Always pick up after your dog
Afterwards
- Rinse with fresh water and dry the ears
- Check paws for shells and cuts
