- Check the café's rules first
- Toilet break before going in, and carry poop bags
- Keep the leash on unless there is an off-leash area
- Use a belly band or diaper if your dog marks
- No paws on tables or chairs unless allowed
- Ask before giving treats to other pets
- Watch for signs of stress and take a break if needed
- Clean up straight away and tell the staff
